Terms
Prototype — not yet legal termsWhat this is, and what it is not.
Casa Francis would rather say less and be believed than promise more and be doubted. These terms describe the honest status of the project today.
Status of this site
- ○Casa Francis is a proposal in development. This site presents a vision, not a service currently on sale.
- ○Nothing here is an offer, a contract, a booking, a solicitation of funds or a guarantee of future availability.
- ○No stay can be booked instantly. Every request is read and answered by a person.
What is illustrative
- ○Budgets, project phases, timelines, prices, capacities and impact figures shown anywhere on this site are illustrative and clearly labelled.
- ○Profiles of Maestri shown as demonstrations are fictional placeholders; no real person is depicted without consent.
- ○Some images are temporary and will be replaced with authentic documentary photography of Padula and San Francesco. Licensed archive photographs carry their attribution on the image.
- ○Historical, architectural and religious details await confirmation with the Franciscan community and local sources before being presented as fact.
Funding and donations
- ○Donations are not open. No payment is processed and no financial data is collected anywhere on this site.
- ○Giving will open only once the legal entity, payment handling, accounting, privacy, regulatory and tax arrangements are confirmed and published.
- ○No claim of official approval, endorsement or partnership is made on behalf of any religious, civil or heritage authority.
Conduct at San Francesco
- ○San Francesco is a living religious house before it is a destination. Guests are asked to respect its rhythm, silence, prayer and privacy.
- ○Participation in prayer is always invited and never required. Guests of any faith or none are welcome.
- ○Photography of friars, residents, Maestri and other guests requires their permission.
- ○Work with Maestri involves tools, heat, heights and workshops; safety instructions are part of the experience.
Content and attribution
- ○Archive photographs are used under their own free licences and credited with author and licence next to the image.
- ○Stories, recipes, songs and family material remain the property of the people and families who shared them.
Governing law
- ○Casa Francis is rooted in Padula, province of Salerno, Italy. Any future agreement will be governed by Italian and applicable EU law.
- ○These terms will be replaced by a lawyer-reviewed version before Casa Francis operates publicly.
