Funding

Illustrative figures — giving is not yet open

Give to a building that has to outlive us.

The Convento di San Francesco in Padula, Salerno, is the first and the smallest part of this work. What follows is the funding architecture as it will operate — the goals, the allocation and the promises — shown in full before a single euro is accepted.

The campaign

Three projects, named and costed.

€300.000

Total illustrative goal

€0 raised — collection has not begun.

Roof and structural envelope

Stabilising the fabric that protects everything else. Nothing inside can be preserved while water enters.

Goal

€140.000

Church interior and decorative surfaces

Conservation of plaster, altars and painted surfaces, under the direction of qualified restorers.

Goal

€90.000

Guest quarters and accessibility

Simple, dignified rooms for those who come to stay, and access for those who could not otherwise enter.

Goal

€70.000

Ways of giving

Four forms, one standard.

One-time gift

A single contribution directed to a named project, not to a general pool.

Monthly support

Continuity matters more than size. Small, steady support is what preservation actually runs on.

Dedication

A gift made in the name of a family, a parent, a grandparent who left Padula.

Anonymous gift

No name, no listing, no recognition. This is treated as an equal form of giving.

No payment is processed anywhere on this site, and no financial information is collected.

What we promise

Governance to be confirmed
  • Every project is published with its own budget, its status and what remains.
  • Work is documented with photographs and dated updates, before and after.
  • No work begins without the approval of the responsible authorities and the community.
  • Recognition honours family, memory and gratitude — never social status.

Figures on this page are illustrative and have not been approved by any authority or religious community. Giving opens only once the legal entity, payment processing, accounting, privacy terms, Italian and international fundraising requirements are confirmed. We make no claim of tax deductibility.
